Write the 2 sentences about the character described. Switch papers with a partner. Under his/her 2 sentences, write a minimum of 35 words in a paragraph expanding or elaborating on the idea in one of the sentences. Put your name on the paper and hand it in.

3. Meet in book groups. Pool your themes to get 3-5 to use for step 2. Each person do one.
