2. Write a summary from your notes on pp 2 & 3 in gold textbook.

1. Quiz terms S to W and vocabulary 1 & 2
2. Check homework p 213
3. If you want a tone handout, come by my room at recess, lunch, etc.
HOMEWORK due Thursday: Page 213 Critical Response--Write a 400-500 word essay w/intro, body ¶s, conclusion comparing the two poems as suggested. Also hand in your plan of comparison for Sonnet 75 and The Flood Tide comparing message, imagery, and tone. When you decide what you like, also discuss what is considered quality writing and whether you think the authors did a good job with their works.
