HW: You should have done TP-CASTT Poetry handout assignment for Sound & Sense chpt 3, omitting the notes, which you did earlier this qtr. We will talk about and check this assignment as soon as we find time.
HW: Select a topic for a literary analysis essay of at least 500 words about your play. Read the handout "How to Write a Thesis Statement in 3 Easy Steps" & the back about quoting. Due Tues 12/11 will be the following:
• Final Draft following MLA format: 4 part heading at left, original title, double spaced, 1" margins, last name & page # top right
• Rough Draft with hand written corrections in a different color
• Final Outline with thesis statement at top, at least Roman numerals I, II, A, B, & at least one 1 & 2
• Rough Outline with first thesis at top and at least I and II and at least A and B for each
Daily points will be given for having the following:
--Thurs 12/ 6: Thesis and Rough Outline (see description above for Rough Outline) 10 pts
--Friday 12/ 7: 250 words of essay with quotations 25 pts
--Monday 12/ 10: 500 total words of essay w/quotations 25 pts
