HOMEWORK:Choose 5 of your 10 facts and make a quiz with them. Have 3 possible answers for each of the 5 questions. Write them on a different sheet.

PERIOD 2 (English 4)

HOMEWORK: Write 10 facts about yourself.


PERIOD 5 (AP Lit)
1. Hand in 3 thesis statements and outline.
2. Speaker from Teen Care
HOMEWORK: For the poem you chose from a favorite author, list the following elements and an example of each from the poem:
1) DICTION(choice of words) For an example of a word or phrase from the poem, give DENOTATION and CONNOTATION for that word or phrase
2) IMAGERY (literal: exactly what it says)
3) FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE (figures of speech like METAPHOR)
4) MEANING of the poem (what you think it means)
5) MUSICAL (sound) DEVICE (rhyme, rhythm, alliteration, assonance, consonance, onomatopoeia)
If there is none, write NONE.

PERIOD 6 (Test Prep)
