1. AR silent reading and logs for points.
2. Discuss Notes on happiness article, vocabulary: objective and subjective
3. Discuss article from pp 2 & 3 in textbook about the Celts, Romans, and Anglo Saxons who lived in England long ago.
PERIOD 5
1. Quiz on Voc 1- 8, a literary term, and Act 2 of Hamlet
2. Hand in the 2 reading record cards and the 2 summer novels.
3. Get back essay # 2 and another handout on comment abbreviations for interpreting comments to essay. Discuss.
HOMEWORK: Make a list of correction comments made on your essay to hand in. Revise your essay.
HOMEWORK: Read Act 3 of Hamlet.
