1. AR reading and new log Quiz deadline Friday, Feb 1
2. Begin Shakespeare's Macbeth: Pg72 in Gold book: "Writing Connection"
Write the 2 sentences about the character described. Switch papers with a partner. Under his/her 2 sentences, write a minimum of 35 words in a paragraph expanding or elaborating on the idea in one of the sentences. Put your name on the paper and hand it in.
PERIOD 6
1. Share your quiz with your partner. Introduce your partner to the class and ask the class a question from their quiz.
2. Handouts on Test-taking Myths and Test-taking Approaches. Discuss. Also handout on Critical Reading and Effective Writing.
